Henry's career began June 1, 1964 Texas Insurance Commissioner requested an Agent to be appointed to cover Galveston County, he was appointed to represent the World's largest auto & home insurance company for all of Galveston County. The Citizens of Galveston recognized Freudenburg's unique leadership abilities and elected him Mayor in 1996.
As Chairman of the Galveston Chamber of Commerce Henry helped spearhead a Beach re nourishment plan that is still a major drawing attraction for our visitors.
